Lisa Kreider memorial Scholarship Foundation of the community foundation of sarasota
Established to provide scholarships to attend college for graduating high school seniors and recent graduates who are already attending college who are residents of Manatee and Sarasota Counties.

Designing Women Boutique is one of Sarasota's newest, most exciting and most creative charitable endeavors. The shop is a 501-c-3 that recycles fine fashions, home furnishing accent pieces, antiques and accessories into funds to benefit the community

Hurricane Relief
Yellow Strawberry is also very proud of our “It Matters” campaign. While in New York for an Intercoiffure atelier, we persuaded Intercoiffure to join the National Cosmetology Association fundraising efforts for fellow hairdressers in Louisiana and Mississippi that were hit hardest during Hurricane Katrina. Hurricane Katrina devastated these states this past summer. Black and white bracelets imprinted with the slogan “It Matters” are sold. All funds go to the NCA in the name of Intercoiffure for hurricane relief. In addition to selling the bracelets, we held a very successful cut-a-thon with all monies raised going to Hurricane Katrina victims. The “It Matters” campaign has raised over $5 million which has been distributed in Mississippi and Louisiana.
Locks of Love is a public non-profit organization that provides hairpieces to financially disadvantaged children under age 18 suffering from long-term medical hair loss from any diagnosis.
Yellow Strawberry joins salons all over the country in an effort to fight a disease that strikes one in eight American women. Yellow Strawberry becomes an education center on strategies to fight breast cancer.
