Since Yellow Strawberry’s debut in 1994, we pride ourselves in continually setting the standard for innovative and creative hair cuts, color and styling. Fueled by our passion for hair, we continue to bring in the latest hairstyles and designs to our clients, while providing exceptional customer service. Yellow Strawberry has earned multiple awards over the years, and has been featured as “Best Hair Salon” in Sarasota. With the growing support from our amazing clients, we are pleased to announce the opening of our third location in Sarasota, located on Fruitville Road.

We pride ourselves in remaining actively involved and participating in many of the world’s leading styling conferences, including the prestigious Intercoiffure in New York City, with only the top 200 salons in the country being invited. We are joined by many of our other leading Yellow Strawberry stylists, all of whom match our passion and professional integrity for advancing our knowledge and experience to the benefit of our clients.

Founder, Richard Weintraub
RICHARD WEINTRAUB is a master stylist who has 35 years of experience in the industry and has been a member of “Intercoiffure Mondial” since 1979. Richard has worked as a platform artist in the U.S., Germany. Italy, France, Brazil and Japan. His photo work has been published in various magazines including Glamour, Self and Vogue. In 2006 Richard was honored with the “Ordre De La Chevvalerie” which is one of the highest honors given for outstanding contribution to the beauty industry.
Owner, Christina Loss
CHRISTINA LOSS is a master stylist with technical skills in advanced cutting, including razor cutting. With 16 years of experience, 10 of which also included educating the minds of young aspiring stylists. Christina began her career at Beauty Bar Salon and Spa in Toledo, Ohio during early 2006. Gaining knowledge and education at The Redken Exchange in New York City she gained the title of Redken specialist. Along with her education and experience, Christina is passionate about her work in devoted areas of bridal hair and balayage color.
